Job Summary:
A professional responsible for ensuring operational safety through audits, equipment inspections, monitoring of critical activities, documentation and operational authorization, safety education and awareness, and accident investigation.
Key Highlights:
1. Audit and inspection for compliance with NRs and internal procedures
2. Preparation and validation of JSA and issuance of Work Permits
3. Conducting Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS) and training to raise safety awareness
* **Field Audit:** Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and verify compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) and internal procedures.
* **PPE/Collective Protection Equipment (CPE) Inspection:** Verify correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and installation/adequacy of Collective Protection Equipment (CPE), such as guardrails and signage.
* **Monitoring of Critical Activities:** Closely monitor work at height, in confined spaces, excavation, load handling, and hot work (e.g., welding).
**2\. Documentation and Operational Authorization**
* **JSA (Job Safety Analysis):** Prepare or validate the JSA prior to commencement of activities, defining a safe step-by-step procedure.
* **Work Permit (WP):** Issue Work Permits for high-risk activities, ensuring all preventive measures have been implemented.
* **Third-Party Management:** Guide and audit contracted companies to ensure they adhere to the same safety standards as the contracting company.
**3\. Education and Awareness**
* **DDS (Daily Safety Dialogue):** Conduct brief conversations before each shift to inform workers about specific risks of the day.
* **Operational Training:** Train workers on specific hazards, tool handling, and emergency procedures.
* **Preventive Guidance:** Advise workers on safe practices, acting as a frontline safety educator.
**4\. Investigation and Corrective Actions**
* **Accident/Deviation Investigation:** Investigate near-misses, deviations, and injury accidents to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
* **Field Reports:** Record identified non-conformities and track implementation of improvement actions.

Contract Duration: 120 days
Compensation: R$2.603,02 \- R$4.240,00 per month
