




**Description:** **Education:** Master's degree, Doctorate **Computer Skills:** Microsoft Office Suite, ESG, Software Engineering **JOB MISSION:** Deliver and prepare instructional materials for undergraduate courses in accordance with previously distributed guidelines and content; administer exams; conduct in-class assignments; and clarify students’ questions. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** Develop the course lesson plan—including content and methodology—while adhering to the syllabus outlined in the pedagogical plan, and submit it for approval by the Course Coordination. Deliver lectures according to the specific teaching plan to foster student learning. Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance in class. Assess student performance through the development and administration of appropriate evaluation instruments and ongoing pedagogical monitoring, ensuring students acquire the skills and competencies specified in the pedagogical plan. Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, returning results to students. Record and publish assessment results in compliance with the academic calendar. Keep the class register updated. Follow the discipline’s bibliographic references established by the Teaching Faculty Group and suggest alternative bibliographic resources. Participate in course faculty meetings to refine the pedagogical project. Supervise undergraduate thesis projects when assigned. Stay current with pedagogical practices. Engage in research and/or extension activities related to one’s field of expertise, as well as serve on committees and evaluation boards when assigned. Maintain scholarly/scientific output consistent with the program’s guidelines. Attend scientific events relevant to one’s field of expertise to disseminate knowledge and acquire new information. Report to the Course Coordination and students on the progress of teaching activities and any incidents (conduct, procedures, and attendance) related to the institution and the discipline taught. Participate in the Teaching Faculty Group when assigned, fulfilling all duties inherent to the role. Stay current with institutional documents. Promote and uphold the institution’s Code of Ethics; comply with and ensure compliance with decisions made by faculty councils and the leadership of one’s Academic Unit, as well as with the institution’s guiding principles—vision, mission, and values. Attend departmental meetings and other administrative meetings (e.g., Undergraduate Course Council; Postgraduate Course Council; committees to which the faculty member belongs, etc.). Attend research group meetings to discuss projects, articles, and research progress. Prepare lectures, grade exams and student assignments. Draft proposals for funding calls (e.g., project financing, scholarships, travel grants), and produce specific analytical reports. Write journal articles, books, and book chapters; submit them for publication and revise them. Review journal articles upon request from scientific journals. Prepare abstracts for submission of proposals to present papers at conferences and other scientific events. Prepare lectures, keynote speeches, and panel discussions for presentation at conferences and other scientific events, and attend such conferences and scientific events. Serve on master’s thesis qualification and defense committees and doctoral dissertation examination committees, both within the institution and at external institutions outside one’s city. Properly utilize institutional systems and resources for work-related tasks, in accordance with established norms and procedures.
