Mission Responsible for implementing, standardizing, and improving industrialization processes for the ingredient portfolio—particularly in O&E—bridging the gap between concept and final product, leveraging current processes and technologies or developing new routes to deliver the industrial capabilities and capacities required to meet market demands and product requirements. Job Responsibilities * Responsible for implementing industrialization processes for the ingredient portfolio, bridging the gap between concept and final product, seeking technical solutions and innovations for industrial processes that deliver the final product with improved efficiency & cost; * Responsible for developing, managing processes, implementing standards and procedures, and formulating strategies to identify and correct critical process points that may impact safety, quality, cost, and efficiency; * Optimize and integrate continuous improvement processes into industrial technologies and processes; * Collaborate directly with Operations and Production Planning teams to ensure delivery of production plans and volume targets; * Provide technical support to the Quality team in detailed analysis of quality issues, consumer complaints, and improvements from an industrial process perspective, as well as support during internal, external, and customer audits; * Responsible for maximizing raw material (O&E) utilization in ingredient production, minimizing waste and maintaining low inventory levels, while ensuring optimal cost balance among raw materials, products, and processes; * Directly engage in CAPEX project development for process adjustments, improvements, and capacity expansion for folded oils, fractionated oils, and fibers; * Collaborate closely with PDA on new product development, supported by technologies capable of delivering market expectations and required product specifications using current and/or new industrial processes; * Support development of the factory’s operational procedures following launch and implementation of new technologies and/or processes; * Operate cross-functionally across the organization, utilizing necessary resources to achieve business objectives and supporting the BD & Pricing team with process-cost insights for desired product routes; * Use analytical data (e.g., GC and physicochemical analyses) to “match” sample quality and implement industrial processes for large-scale production; * Participate in and support “matching” (reverse engineering) activities for products and samples to meet customer demands—including potential market share gains; * Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and processes related to citrus and non-citrus ingredient production, participating in supplier technology trials and conducting critical evaluations; * Act as an enabler for portfolio expansion, maximizing existing resources—and when needed, additional ones; * Actively participate in and lead POCs (Proofs of Concept) on the industrial and process side with strategic partners for new product and application development, working closely with the PDA and Sales teams; * Develop the technical and professional capabilities of the team under your responsibility and of industrial operations technical teams. Profile Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields. Fluent English | Spanish preferred a) Prior experience in industrializing citrus ingredients and others; strategic process management, manufacturing, and applied continuous improvement systems; b) Experience managing CAPEX projects related to citrus oil and essential oil distillation and fractionation systems; c) Experience in engineering projects, processes, and industrialization; d) Participation in iterations with PDA and customers for product development and specification of industrial technologies; e) Advantage: Multisectoral background (B2B and B2C).
