




**Description** The Electrical Technician is responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems, ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of equipment and installations. Performs preventive and corrective inspections, develops projects, conducts electrical tests, and configures equipment, in compliance with company standards and occupational safety regulations. **Main responsibilities** * Strictly comply with Quality Management guidelines and the company’s Code of Conduct. * Correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) provided by MPC, adhering to all applicable safety standards. * Implement the 5S Program, keeping the work area and equipment clean and organized, thereby preserving company assets. * Ensure the preservation and maintenance of tools and instruments, requesting maintenance or calibration whenever necessary. * Carry out tasks according to established training, instructions, and procedures. * Adhere to production planning as outlined in cell reports and team leaders’ instructions. * Accurately enter maintenance information into the FAS system and request a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) when required. * Immediately report any incident or failure during task execution to the responsible supervisor. * Undertake business travel as needed. **General activities** * Assembly and connection of electrical systems, including distribution panels, cables, and equipment. * Conducting inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components, both preventively and reactively. * Developing electrical installation projects, considering technical standards, safety, and energy efficiency. * Applying electrical installation safety standards and correctly using PPE. * Performing tests and measurements to ensure system and equipment quality. * Preparing technical reports, layouts, and other documents related to installation and maintenance. **Segment-specific activities** * Disassembly and assembly of motors, generators, transformers, and substation yard equipment, including switchgear cubicles. * Conducting electrical tests on motors, generators, and transformers. * Operating thermovacuum and vacuum pumps. * Operating ultra-dry air central systems. * Performing preventive maintenance on substation yard equipment and switchgear cubicles. * Maintaining air conditioning systems and air drying central systems. * Configuring frequency inverters, soft starters, and electronic controllers. **Requirements** * Completed technical education in Electrotechnology, Electronics, or related fields. * 6 months to 2 years of experience in the role. * Attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment to work quality.
