REHAEL Group was founded in 1985 with the vision of building a place where people can become empowered.
Its founder drew inspiration from Nature when naming the stores, choosing indigenous feminine-gender names.
In 1985, its first exclusive O Boticário store opened in the city's District Area. Ten years later, aiming to establish a retail group, the first store of this vision was launched, named after the guardian angel of the company's vice-director — REHAEL. Later, the Amazonas Shopping store was inaugurated, named after the angel of the founder's second daughter — NELCHAEL.
