Job Summary: A professional to operate glass processing machinery, ensuring quality, safety, and contributing to the team within a continuously learning environment. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to work for a leading glass processing company in the North region. 2. A collaborative environment that values teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement. 3. A key role in production, focused on quality and care for the final product. Mirandex began its journey in mid-1994 as “Vidros Brasil de Rondônia”, a distributor of flat and common glass, operating in the glass distribution sector. In 1998, demand emerged in the state for tempered glass—a novelty at the time. Since then, Mirandex began reselling tempered glass produced in major industrial centers across Brazil. Rising demand, procurement and transportation difficulties, and extended delivery lead times inspired us to establish our own manufacturing facility. Thus, in 2000, we inaugurated our tempered glass plant—the first in the state of Rondônia—equipped with a vertical tempering furnace. As market demand intensified, customers required new products and faster delivery. To meet these needs, in 2002 we took a major step forward by acquiring a horizontal tempering furnace based on American technology, enabling faster and higher-quality glass production. Today, Mirandex is the largest glass processing company in Brazil’s North region. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Operating specialized glass processing machinery (e.g., edge-polishers, drilling machines, cutting machines, tempering furnaces, or laminating machines); * Preparing machines for operation by performing basic setup according to technical specifications or production orders; * Conducting visual and functional inspections of machinery prior to shift commencement; * Monitoring machine operation throughout the process to ensure glass is processed according to quality standards; * Accurately completing production reports or operational logs; * Identifying malfunctions, unusual noises, or deviations and immediately reporting them to maintenance or supervision; * Performing cleaning and organization of the workstation; * Strictly adhering to safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE); * Collaborating with production assistants to support departmental pace and quality; * Participating in training sessions and process improvement initiatives. **Desired Technical Profile:** * Prior experience operating industrial machinery (preferably in the glass industry); * Basic ability to read production orders and interpret measurements; * Fundamental knowledge of preventive maintenance (operator level); * Ability to identify product defects or machine malfunction; * Agility combined with attention to detail (to prevent breakage, cracks, scratches); * Preferred: familiarity with glass types, hardware, or construction materials (a plus). **We expect the following from you:** * Organization * Agility * Effective communication * Physical stamina * Teamwork * Transparency regarding errors, failures, and improvement suggestions * Openness to learning new processes and enhancing operational methods * Continuous pursuit of learning and technical growth * Commitment to productivity and quality * Care for the final product, recognizing its direct impact on the customer * Responsible handling of equipment. **Benefits:** * Life Insurance * SESI Health & Leisure Program * Food Allowance * Attendance Bonus – Basic Food Basket * Transportation Allowance, if applicable * Access to Solides online learning platform **An outstanding team is waiting for you!**
