We are seeking a Furniture Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Petrolina. **Position Summary:** The General Services Assistant is responsible for ensuring maintenance and organization of the furniture store, guaranteeing that the environment remains clean, safe, and pleasant for customers and staff. The professional performs varied tasks involving cleaning, organization, support during layout changes, and assistance in daily operations. **Responsibilities:** Perform daily cleaning of internal and external store areas, including floors, windows, display cases, and furniture exhibition areas. Maintain restrooms and common areas in appropriate hygienic condition. Remove trash and recyclable materials in accordance with established regulations. Monitor and report infrastructure maintenance or repair needs within the store. Assist in organizing and arranging inventory and furniture exhibition areas. Adjust store layout according to product display requirements and special promotions. Ensure all products are arranged attractively and accessibly for customers. Assist with furniture deliveries and pickups as needed, ensuring safe transportation of items. Assist in furniture assembly and disassembly as required. Support promotional events and in-store merchandising activities. Ensure all safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents and damage. Maintain store compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to meet store and customer needs. Report any issues or needs to the supervisor or store manager. **Requirements:** Completed elementary education. Prior experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage. Basic maintenance skills and ability to use tools. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required. Proactivity and initiative to solve problems. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
