Start your journey with us today. **Title:** 2nd Officer **Location:**Offshore, BR **Job Closing Date:** 13 Nov 2025 **What will you be doing?** We are seeking a **2nd Officer of Navigation \- DPO** to join our Offshore team and support the delivery of challenging projects and services for the energy industry. **Job Mission:** Perform highly complex tasks involving the correction and updating of nautical charts and publications related to navigation; inspection, maintenance, and operation of lifesaving equipment; and act as leader during firefighting, abandonment, and man-overboard rescue drills. \* All our positions are open to persons with disabilities and/or rehabilitated individuals\* Responsibilities and Duties **Main Responsibilities and Challenges:** * Stay informed and updated on company procedures in general, promoting continuous improvement in operational and vessel safety activities; * Carry out scheduled tasks in accordance with company procedures, policies, and values; * Identify any incidents related to unsafe behaviors and/or attitudes, conditions, processes, or other related matters, reporting them to the immediate supervisor and recording or requesting recording via the company’s internal systems; * Maintain all lifesaving and firefighting equipment as directed by the Second-in-Command; * Ensure all nautical charts and publications are correct and up-to-date; request replacements jointly with the Second-in-Command when necessary; * Navigation Officer: Act as a Dynamic Positioning Operator during dynamic positioning operations; * Serve as Officer of the Watch on the bridge during navigation or as Deck Officer of the Watch while the vessel is in port; * General bridge and deck routines; * Responsible for conventional watchkeeping duties; * Assist the Administrative Officer as required, including integrating newly arrived personnel into onboard safety protocols; * While in port, assist the Ship Security and Protection Officer with security preparations. **What experience would we like you to have?** * 2nd Officer of Navigation II/1; * Full DP Certification; * Experience as a 2nd Officer of Navigation on DP II-classified offshore vessels is desirable; * Advanced English; * Valid maritime certification. **An environment where you can thrive** We recognise that having a diverse team makes us a better, smarter team.
