**Job Summary:** The Data Engineer must be capable of designing, scaling, and optimizing data pipeline architecture, as well as developing and maintaining data flows from various domains of our clients. This professional must be familiar with DataOps concepts and strategies, as well as with executing managed projects using Agile methodologies. Knowledge of big data technologies is essential for this role. It is important to collaborate effectively with diverse teams — especially technology and business units — and to identify opportunities for improving data structuring approaches to achieve the client’s analytical objectives. **Responsibilities:** * Design, maintain, and enhance high-complexity data flows and pipelines (ETL and ELT) * Transform data * Perform development, testing, validation, deployment, bug fixing, delivery, and test automation for complex routines and processes * Utilize Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP) to build and execute data pipelines * Participate in team and client meetings, as well as Agile project management ceremonies * Interact with complex business areas to validate deliverables and implement possible adjustments under guidance from intermediate-level Data Engineers * Identify process improvement opportunities and design and implement proposed solutions, such as: automation of manual processes, optimization of data delivery, architectural improvements for enhanced performance, and others * Continuously design and improve data pipeline architecture * Integrate multiple large and complex databases to fulfill functional and non-functional business requirements **Requirements:** * Proficiency in Databricks * Solid experience with SQL and Python * Knowledge of Azure/AWS/GCP data stacks and DataOps practices * Experience building data flows using big data tools * Customer-centric mindset and ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, as well as solve problems effectively **Journey to become a Fiver:** To get to know each other and assess whether we can build amazing solutions together, we follow a structured path where, at each step, we share part of our story: * Resume screening; * Initial conversation with the Human Management team; * Technical interview with team leads; * Final interview with the client. *So now, what story would you like to tell?* **About us, Fivers:** We believe data is the fuel for enterprise and individual transformation.
