Position Mission** ------------------------- Manage the Management Accounting area at tm1, ensuring the integrity of financial information, the reliability of performance indicators, and the strengthening of corporate governance. This professional will be responsible for transforming financial and operational data into strategic analyses that support the Executive Board’s decision-making, leading financial planning, budgeting, cost management, profitability analysis, and management intelligence processes. The mission is to consolidate Management Accounting as a strategic function, promoting predictability, control, operational efficiency, and continuous support for the organization’s sustainable growth. **3\. Responsibilities and Duties** ======================================= * **Management Accounting Oversight:** Coordinate routine activities in Financial Planning, Accounting Control, Cost Management, and preparation of management reports, ensuring the quality, reliability, and timeliness of the company’s financial information. * **Budgetary and Financial Performance Management:** Lead the annual budgeting cycle (Budget), periodic revisions (Rolling Forecast), and variance analyses between Budgeted and Actual results, identifying risks and opportunities and proposing action plans to optimize outcomes. * **Cost and Profitability Management:** Coordinate cost allocation processes, development of financial metrics, and preparation of Profit & Loss (P\&L) statements by event, project, or business unit, ensuring greater predictability and control over operational profitability. * **KPI and Business Intelligence Management:** Lead the design, maintenance, and evolution of management dashboards and strategic KPIs, enabling real-time visibility into the company’s financial and operational performance. * **Executive Reporting and Executive Board Support:** Prepare and consolidate executive presentations (Board Deck), translating financial data into strategic analyses that support the Executive Board in decision-making and business direction. * **Financial Business Partnering:** Serve as the primary financial partner for operational areas, PMOs, and leadership teams, supporting budgetary control, margin analysis, financial viability assessments of projects, and performance indicator management. * **Governance, Processes, and Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and enhancement of analytical processes, reinforcing internal controls, data quality, and the efficiency of the Management Accounting function. * **Management Intelligence Development:** Contribute to the advancement of Business Intelligence initiatives, collaborating on KPI definition, data modeling, performance metrics, and strengthening a data-driven culture across the organization. * **Team Management:** Support the technical and behavioral development of the Management Accounting team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, collaboration, innovation, and results orientation. * **Security and Reliability:** Understand and uphold information security policies, confidentiality of financial data, internal controls, and tm1 corporate standards, ensuring the integrity of the company’s strategic information. * **Perform related tasks of similar nature and complexity**, ensuring high-quality deliverables, achievement of departmental objectives, and excellence in execution. * **Commit to continuous improvement**, contributing to strategic initiatives, digital transformation, evolution of financial processes, and strengthening of corporate governance. **4\. Prerequisites and Qualifications** ======================================= * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related fields. A postgraduate degree or specialization in Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Management, or related disciplines is considered an advantage. * **Relevant Experience:** Solid experience in Management Accounting, FP\&A, Cost Management, Financial Planning, and profitability analysis—preferably within service-oriented companies managing finances on a project basis. * **Technical Knowledge:** Experience managing budgeting processes (Budget and Rolling Forecast), preparing management-level Income Statements (DRE), pricing strategies, financial modeling, performance indicators, financial mathematics, and developing executive presentations for senior leadership. * **Tools:** Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Looker), along with familiarity with ERP systems and corporate financial planning platforms (EPM). * **Professional Profile:** Highly analytical, organized, proactive, and results-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, systemic business vision, ability to act as a business partner, and strong capability to transform financial information into strategic business intelligence. **tm1 Competencies 2026** ------------------------- * **Management (Governance and Financial Intelligence):** Ability to structure processes, metrics, and controls that enhance financial predictability, quality of management information, and strategic support for decision-making. * **Market & Customers (Strategic Business Vision):** Understand the financial implications of operations and act as a strategic partner to leadership, promoting sustainability, profitability, and efficiency in managing the company’s projects. * **People (Development and Analytical Culture):** Develop a high-performance team, encouraging critical thinking, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and building a data- and results-driven culture. **5\.
