* Receive, register, and triage biological materials submitted for testing, verify them, and issue identification labels; * Wash reusable materials; * Enter test results and print reports; * Provide telephone support for result release; **Responsibilities and Duties** * Receive and triage biological materials submitted for testing, verifying correct sample identification and collection, as well as compliance (or non-compliance) with internal standard operating procedures and physician’s test requests; * Register biological samples in the L.I.S. (Laboratory Information System), entering required data to generate barcode-labeled identification tags for physician test requests; * Assist the Urinalysis, Parasitology, and Hematology departments in preparing materials for specimen collection, labeling tubes, and sorting by test type according to relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for subsequent analysis by specialized professionals; * Sort and analyze specimens designated for centrifugation, and separate serum from dry-tube specimens, distributing them by department for testing; * Enter results not automatically released by the L.I.S. (Laboratory Information System) and forward them to the respective department for technical validation and report completion; * Print reports for tests performed in the laboratory, organizing them into folders labeled "External Clients" and "Internal Clients" for review and release by the requesting physician; * Provide telephone support for result release to staff in clinical support areas; * Wash reusable materials (e.g., pipettes, tubes, etc.) for subsequent use in the technical department; * Archive daily, at the end of each shift, validated service orders (OS) for external and internal client test requests, and monthly file them in department-labeled boxes to comply with ONA (National Accreditation Organization) standards; * Perform other duties as needed or as directed by supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Prior experience in this role is desirable. **Additional Information** **Schedule:** 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, rotating 5x2 schedule. (Institute for Retirement and Social Security of Merchants) until the merger of social security institutes, after which it came under administration by INAMPS, serving exclusively social security beneficiaries. In 1988, management transferred to the State Government of São Paulo as part of SUS/SP. In January 2010, SPDM – Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine, accredited as a Social Organization of Health (OSS), won the public bidding process to manage the Brigadeiro Hospital. The facility was reinaugurated in 2010 as the first public hospital in Brazil specializing in organ transplants. The name “Euryclides de Jesus Zerbini” honors the cardiac surgeon who performed Brazil’s first heart transplant.
