We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with solid experience in electrical studies and projects focused on renewable energy generation (solar, wind, and hydro) Join us — become Auren!! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Duties for this position:** * Ensure technical performance, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in the conception and implementation of power generation and transmission projects * Participate from planning phases through construction completion and commissioning, as well as technically representing projects internally and before regulatory agencies * Develop, review, and validate basic and executive electrical projects (substations, transmission lines, protection and control systems) * Conduct electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, selectivity, stability, and electromagnetic transients), supporting technical decision-making * Specify electrical equipment and materials, evaluate suppliers, and ensure adherence to national and international technical standards * Monitor construction execution and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance, quality, and deadlines * Interface with regulatory agencies (ANEEL, ONS, EPE, and concessionaires), preparing technical opinions, responding to requirements, and supporting regulatory processes * Critically analyze third-party projects, identifying opportunities for technical improvement and cost-benefit optimization * Prepare technical specifications (RFQ/RFP) for procurement of equipment, studies, and solutions for new renewable energy projects * Assess grid connection points and power evacuation margins for new projects. * Provide technical support to the O\&M team in analyzing incidents and defining solutions * Interface with internal departments (sustainability, regulatory, legal, procurement, among others). * Support owner’s engineering, ensuring compliance with Auren’s technical requirements * Participate in energy matrix expansion projects, developing electrical balance-of-plant (BOP) solutions for solar, wind, hydroelectric, and BESS plants * Monitor project progress, reporting advances and critical issues to leadership * Track sector trends and innovations via technical groups, seminars, and specialized events * Contribute to process standardization, dissemination of best practices, and team development **Requirements and Qualifications** **You must have:** * Completed bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering * Solid experience in developing and implementing projects in renewable energy generation (solar, wind, and hydro) * Proficiency in electrical analysis and simulation software (ETAP, PowerFactory, PSS/E) * Advanced knowledge of applicable standards (ANEEL, ONS, ABNT, IEC, IEEE) * Experience monitoring construction and commissioning of generation and transmission projects **Mandatory:** Active CREA registration *  **Preferred Qualifications:** * Specialization in renewable energy * Knowledge of regulatory implementation processes for power plants (wind, solar, and hydro) * Advanced English proficiency **Additional Information** At Auren Energia, we believe the future lies in innovative ideas, sustainable actions, and a more positive world; and what makes the difference in creating our synergy is who we go with!
