The Amazon Logistics Brazil (AMZL) team is seeking a Logistics Operations Leader to join Amazon's External Logistics Partners team. Operations will be conducted seven days per week, including holidays; therefore, working across various shifts will be part of this role. You will manage a team of external logistics partners, as well as lead a team of Amazon-employed Logistics Operations Analysts, ensuring partner process performance and compliance. You will work in a highly collaborative environment that feels more like a start\-up than a large corporation. The mindset is that no idea is a bad idea—and the best ideas are those that should be tested and experimented with. This person will be responsible for monitoring partner logistics performance and compliance, coordinating with internal and external teams. They will also support onboarding of new logistics partners. The role requires someone highly motivated to take ownership, skilled at identifying patterns and trends, and capable of examining details and analyzing data to deeply investigate root causes of operational issues and propose solutions. Key job responsibilities Manage the Logistics Operations Analyst team; Primary point of contact and metric monitoring for logistics partners responsible for delivery stations; Oversee training and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics partners; Develop and monitor operational metrics with logistics partners; Analyze data from multiple sources and identify relevant trends to enable rapid, impactful business decisions; Identify practical and simple solutions to complex problems; Serve as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders, keeping objectives, constraints, compliance, and information privacy in mind; Deeply investigate root causes of operational problems. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays * Speak, write, and read fluently in English * Experience in employee and performance management **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
