




Job Summary: As a Materials Assistant, you will support receiving, inspection, and material handling routines, ensuring safe and ergonomic availability of materials for internal and external customers. For this reason, we transport, store, and manage domestic and imported materials and components required for our customers' projects and systems. As a Materials Assistant, you will support a range of routines aimed at ensuring the safe and ergonomic availability of the correct materials to internal and external customers, at the appropriate times, following proper procedures. A typical day as a Materials Assistant may include: ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** 1\. Perform routines involving material receipt, physical and systemic/electronic inspection, and ERP stock balance updates via invoice entry, meeting the operational requirements. 2\. Request material withdrawals by scheduling with transportation companies. 3\. Assist in monthly inventory processes through physical verification and barcode control. 4\. Assist in material movements—both physical and electronic—using the ERP inventory module. 5\. Assist in updating performance indicators related to the activity. 6\. Apply and promote SEL’s values, SEL’s Operating Principles, and Universal Class Manufacturing Principles. 7\. Continuously understand, create, and simplify processes. 8\.
