The Legion of Good Will – LBV is hiring a **Industrial Kitchen Assistant:** The **Industrial Kitchen Assistant** is responsible for assisting the chef in food preparation, cooking, and final plating, adhering strictly to hygiene and food safety standards at the Institution’s Unit. * Assist in all necessary food preparations. * Operate kitchen equipment and utensils, such as blenders, industrial stoves, etc. * Participate in food pre\-preparation (monitor cooking, adjust seasonings). * Strictly comply with hygiene and food safety regulations throughout the entire production process. * Assist in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning the kitchen. * Dispose of food waste appropriately, following hygiene and safety regulations. * Perform other food production tasks as directed by the chef. * Use of PPE. **Prior experience preferred:** In kitchens, as a kitchen assistant; * Basic knowledge of food cutting, cooking, and seasoning. * Knowledge and practical application of good hygiene practices to ensure food safety. * Ability to work collaboratively and in an organized manner to meet production demands. * Workload: **220 hours per month** * Schedule: **7:00 AM to 4:48 PM** * Monday through Friday **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance; * On\-site meal; * Life insurance; * Health plan \- after confirmation; * Dental plan \- after confirmation; * SESC partnership; * Discounts on gyms and sports activities \- Wellhub; * Educational partnerships offering discounts on courses and universities; * Training and capacity\-building program.
