




Description: To be a SWITCH OPERATOR, you must: * Have experience in railway operations; * Have completed high school (submission of the course completion certificate is mandatory); * Be available to work on a 4x4 shift schedule; * Be available to work rotating shifts; * Reside in RIBEIRÃO PRETO/SP or surrounding area. The SWITCH OPERATOR will be responsible for: * Performing coupling and uncoupling maneuvers of trains and railway vehicles; * Conducting maneuvers of trains and railway vehicles; * Assisting the locomotive engineer in forming traction; inspecting the train composition and equipment; * Covering the rear of the train during reverse movement; inspecting cargo and overseeing loading and unloading of railcars; * Assisting in the circulation of railway vehicles; * Observing train compositions; authorizing train departures; * Operating portable communication radios; performing AMV operations; * Assisting in the linking process for distributed traction; * Assisting in compliance with authorizations; * Installing equipment and conducting tests; * Removing railcar lists from yards and terminals upon request; * Driving light-duty vehicles within yards/terminals; * Issuing, printing, checking, and delivering train documents; * Entering/updating information in operational control systems; * Following instructions and regulations; * Performing other activities related to their area of responsibility. 2512310202491938849
