**Responsibilities and duties**
Support clients by providing information regarding imported goods at various stages of the process;
Maintain contact with internal and external clients, suppliers, and other parties involved in the logistics chain to ensure timely delivery of cleared goods;
Stay updated on current legislation:
Update follow-up spreadsheets and internal, external, and governmental systems;
Organize, control, and request payments for import-related expenses;
Analyze and verify customs dispatch documentation, including product fiscal classification;
Prepare and register import licenses, and monitor approvals from various regulatory agencies;
Track arrivals of air, sea, and road shipments;
Analyze data entries and payments/exemptions in the CE Mercante system;
Identify carrier-related fees required for Siscomex Cargo and Siscarga clearance, and monitor cargo release;
Prepare the Import Declaration;
Prepare ICMS tax forms or request ICMS exemption or payment;
Support customs brokers in resolving issues with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service or other regulatory bodies;
Monitor and expedite cargo release to avoid storage, demurrage, and truck detention deadlines;
Ensure execution of all procedures for delivery to the importer, concluding with fiscal reconciliation / billing of the process.
**Requirements and qualifications**
Education: Completed High School
Experience: 6 months to 1 year
Language: Not required
Desirable experience in NVOCC companies
Desirable experience in freight forwarding companies
Desirable knowledge of the **CargoWise** software
Desirable understanding of **maritime, air, and road operations**
Desirable experience in international logistics, foreign trade, or cargo agency companies;
Desirable experience in international cargo agency services;
Desirable knowledge of international freight;
