We envision a world where forests are an unlimited source of materials and a home for biodiversity; where communities see their rights respected and have opportunities to develop. **About the Project/Program** Earthworm Foundation is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to join its Sorriso\-MT team, an initiative focused on strengthening sustainable and regenerative agriculture in strategic territories. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainable production and capable of integrating hands-on field technical practice with strategic vision and project execution. This means having the ability to provide direct technical assistance to farmers, as well as the capacity to execute, monitor, and guide project activities—acting autonomously and proactively. We expect the candidate to communicate clearly and confidently, maintaining constructive dialogue both with farmers and local communities, and with specialist consultants and institutional partners. Solid knowledge of supply chains such as soy, corn, ILPF (Integrated Crop-Livestock-Forestry), including their technical aspects and implementation challenges across different contexts, is essential. **Your Role** As a Project Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for: * Technical assistance and field implementation: Support and guide farmers in implementing Action Plans, promoting regenerative agriculture practices, adoption of SAFs (Agroforestry Systems), crop diversification, strengthening of rural enterprises, and gender inclusion. * Project execution: Develop/oversee project activities, acting autonomously and proposing practical solutions to overcome challenges. * Monitoring and reporting: Conduct systematic activity tracking, populate monitoring tools, organize databases, and produce progress and impact reports, demonstrating data analysis capability. * Engagement and communication: Establish and maintain trust-based relationships with farmers, local communities, and local partners; facilitate meetings, workshops, and territorial articulation processes. * Training and capacity building: Contribute to delivering technical workshops and training sessions for farmers and local technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices. * Administrative and financial management: Support time tracking, expense control, and budget updates, ensuring regularity and transparency in processes. **Your Profile** * Education: Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry/Environmental Engineering, or related fields. * Experience: 2\-3 years of hands-on field technical experience working with farmers (technical assistance), preferably in soy and corn, with interface experience with cooperatives/associations and public agencies (INCRA, SEMA, municipal governments). * Essential technical knowledge: Soy/corn production in Brazil’s Central-West region; Good Agricultural Practices (no-till farming, crop rotation/intercropping, soil and water management, conservation of Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) and Legal Reserves (RL)); familiarity with regenerative agriculture (ILPF, cover cropping, bio-inputs). * Environmental/fundamental land regularization (practical understanding): CAR (individual/collective), APP/RL, basic documentation, and support for protocols, with ability to coordinate with INCRA/SEMA when needed. * Tools: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; QGIS is desirable (viewing layers, simple measurements). * Desirable qualifications (preferred): Basic understanding of PSA (Payment for Environmental Services) (eligibility, simple evidence); general knowledge of sectoral commitments and public policies (e.g., Soy Moratorium, Forest Code); experience with cooperatives and ATER (Technical Assistance and Rural Extension) programs. * Behavioral skills: Clear communication with farmers, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and active listening; organization and planning; focus on results with ethics and social sensitivity. * Logistics: Valid Class B driver’s license and availability for frequent regional travel (Sorriso/Lucas do Rio Verde/Nova Ubiratã or nearby areas). * Languages: Fluent Portuguese; English for reading/writing reports (desirable). **Join Us** If you seek purpose and wish to innovate and act for the environment and people, this opportunity is for you!
