Job Summary:
Lead the maintenance strategy for a Distribution Center, ensuring asset availability and reliability, budget management, and team development.

***Purpose of the role:***
Responsible for leading the Distribution Center maintenance strategy, ensuring asset availability and reliability, execution of planned maintenance routines, and technical team development.
Will manage the maintenance budget, implement corporate methodologies and standards, conduct failure analysis, develop team competencies, and provide technical support to operations. Will serve as the primary liaison between Engineering and Operations, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, compliance with standards, and continuous process improvement.
***Day-to-day responsibilities...***
* Lead asset management for the facility, ensuring execution of planned maintenance routines and application of corporate maintenance methodologies and standards;
* Ensure availability of necessary maintenance resources by promoting failure analysis, continuous improvement, and increased equipment reliability;
* Manage the department’s budget, monitor costs, identify variances, and implement actions to optimize results;
* Develop maintenance team competencies through training, development plans, and succession planning, reinforcing a culture of technical excellence;
* Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to eliminate chronic issues, reduce safety risks, improve quality, and support business outcomes;
* Ensure implementation and compliance with standards, corporate procedures, and applicable requirements for the area;
* Contribute to the Distribution Center’s operational excellence through asset availability, people development, efficient resource management, and adherence to best maintenance practices.
***What will contribute to your success?***
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Production Engineering;
* Experience in industrial or logistics maintenance management and technical team leadership;
* Knowledge of TPM/NCE, Planned Maintenance (PM), failure analysis, and asset management;
* Familiarity with automation, WMS systems, conveyors, sorters, and logistics infrastructure;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced Excel) and Power BI; knowledge of AI tools is a plus;
* Strong analytical and organizational skills;
* Strategic mindset;
* Ability to lead, persuade, and motivate people toward a common goal.
