**About this position**
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective electromechanical maintenance activities on equipment, machines, and industrial systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous operation. Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical failures, contributing to asset reliability, reduced downtime, and compliance with the company’s safety, quality, and productivity standards.
**Responsibilities and duties** **Key responsibilities:**
* Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electromechanical equipment (locomotives, freight cars, and operational technology assets);
* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures;
* Carry out assembly, disassembly, adjustments, and component replacement;
* Interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals;
* Monitor machine performance and propose improvements to increase reliability;
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations;
* Record maintenance activities and complete technical reports;
* Support functional testing and equipment release for operation.
**Experience**
* Experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance;
* Experience in diagnosing and analyzing failures in industrial equipment;
* Knowledge of electrical control systems, motors, frequency inverters, and electrical panels;
* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
* Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings;
* Experience in large-scale industrial environments is considered a plus;
* Knowledge of industrial automation and PLCs is a plus;
* Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance routines.
**Requirements and qualifications** **Education:**
* Completed Technical Education in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
* NR10, NR35, and SEP certifications are desirable and must be up to date. A complementary qualification in industrial maintenance is a plus.

* Working hours: Rotating shift – 6 days on / 2 days off – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
