We are seeking a Course Coordinator to lead the Systems Analysis and Development – Distance Learning program, with hybrid work arrangements and a weekly workload of 20 hours. Our work environment is welcoming, diverse, and challenging—we value autonomy, leadership, and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities and Duties** Coordinate academic activities for the Systems Analysis and Development DL program, ensuring teaching quality, pedagogical innovation, and compliance with institutional and MEC guidelines; Manage faculty and tutoring staff, promoting integration, performance monitoring, and continuous team development; Develop, review, and implement the Course Pedagogical Project (CPP), aligned with market demands and professional competencies in the technology field; Monitor academic performance indicators and propose continuous improvement actions for student development; Directly coordinate disciplines, schedules, assessment processes, and content structuring in collaboration with the pedagogical team; Promote the use of active learning methodologies and educational technologies in teaching\-learning processes; Teach courses in Systems Analysis and Development, actively contributing to student training and practical experience in higher education; Participate in institutional meetings, committees, collegiate bodies, and external evaluation processes, representing both the course and the institution. **Requirements and Qualifications** #### **Academic Background:** * Completed undergraduate degree in **Information Technology**, **Computer Engineering**, or related fields; * Postgraduate specialization (lato sensu) in technology or education; * **Preferred**: Master's or Doctoral degree in computing, engineering, or education-related fields. #### **Technical Knowledge and Tools:** * Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or C\#); * Solid knowledge of databases, data structures, software engineering, and web development; * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and version control practices (Git/GitHub); * Familiarity with **Learning Management Systems (LMS)** such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, among others; * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)** and academic management systems (e.g., Lyceum, Sagres, among others). **Additional Information** ### **Benefits Offered:** * **Health and dental insurance** * **Transportation allowance** * **Life insurance** * **Tuition assistance** for undergraduate and postgraduate programs * **Gympass/HellHub** * **Wellness programs**, mental health support, and well-being initiatives FACENS is a Smart Campus—a patented innovative concept of an intelligent campus.
