




**JOB DETAILS** ----------------- Establish departmental budget regarding inventories, freight, sales mix, and general department expenses. Monitor inventory levels, freight, material consumption, and sales volumes through indicators, and manage action plans. Conduct PIC and PDP meetings with Management and Department Managers. Set quarterly inventory objectives with the Materials Coordinator for each materials planner. Establish monthly freight flexibility. Manage the organization's logistics costs. Develop and encourage logistics improvement plans within the department. Individually manage first-level personnel. Observe and analyze daily, together with direct leadership, department criticalities related to materials, customer service, internal movement, and area safety. Periodically review the strategic staffing plan. Manage new projects within the Department. Ensure logistics processes are executed as required by SOX. Monitor monthly closing processes such as cyclic inventories, obsolete materials, extra freight, etc., ensuring they are reported monthly to the Controller's office. Participate in strategic logistics decision-making meetings with Management. Permanently ensure activities associated with MAGNA SEATING are performed to high safety standards; be responsible for requiring subordinates to perform tasks meeting safety requirements, proposing solutions to eliminate or minimize potential risks of any type of accident. Be accountable for the safety conditions of your team and work environment, guiding safe work practices and maintaining equipment, tools, and facilities in good condition. Conduct routine and scheduled inspections, deliver presentations, and hold team meetings. Be involved in the Work Accident/Incident Investigation Program. Train new employees, correct unsafe acts or conditions, correct or recognize safety performance, and conduct worker safety performance evaluations. Validate and sign Work Accident Investigation Forms – Rapid Response and Continuous Improvement (RRMC). The Logistics Manager must, whenever necessary, apply Progressive Discipline (verbal, written, suspension, and dismissal for cause) as outlined on page 08 of the PPE Manual. Employees are responsible for their own safety and that of others, consequently preserving company assets and the environment. Employees are responsible for maintaining and caring for their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain the principles of “Utilization, Organization, Cleanliness, Health, and Self-discipline (5S)”. Promote compliance with work procedures and instructions defined by the quality and environmental management systems, in alignment with respective policies.
