Quality Control Manager
**Job Purpose:**

Responsible for ensuring olfactory and other analyses of all incoming and outgoing batches of raw materials and fragrances. Also responsible for recording non-conformities, implementing necessary corrective actions, and generating technical documentation in accordance with specifications.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**

Perform Quality Analysis and Control:
* Receive samples and assign the required type of analysis.
* Generate and enter data/sequences and operate analytical equipment.
* Perform olfactory control.
* Interpret analytical data.
* Evaluate quality control results and decide on batch acceptance/rejection within CPL Aromas’ internal Quality Control management application and ERP system.
* Proactively retest materials and batches as required.
* Record analytical data in CPL Aromas’ internal Quality Control management application.
* Keep CPL Aromas’ internal Quality Control management application updated and clean.
* Print QC Pass, Concession, or Fail (Do not Use/Dispose) labels.
* Conduct testing on Concession materials, interpret results, and decide on approval for use.
* Supervise and control batch blending.
* Consolidate multiple batches for large-scale production.
* Record non-conformities, rework, treatments, and blends whenever possible.
Provide Production Support:
* Provide production support for inquiries related to raw materials, production batches, or urgent matters.
* Communicate with Planning in case of production delays.
* Manage and allocate batches and containers for order lines, from Released status to Reserved Physical.
Perform Maintenance and Housekeeping:
* Perform basic daily maintenance and calibration/verification of analytical equipment.
* Perform advanced maintenance of analytical equipment.
* Maintain inventory of reagents, consumables, and spare parts.
* Classify, organize, and archive samples and production sheets.
* Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Document Management:
* Generate requested technical documentation from Quality Control in accordance with specifications.
* Create Technical Data Sheets.
* Create and electronically issue Analysis and Retest Certificates.

Education:
* Training in laboratory analysis and quality control or equivalent.
* Training related to fragrances or similar fields (desirable).
Professional Experience:
* Professional experience in a similar role (1\-3 years).
* Professional experience in fragrance analysis and quality control (desirable).
Other Knowledge and Requirements:
* Intermediate level of English (B1\-B2\).
* Excellent sense of smell – subject to olfactory assessment test.
* Proficiency in computer applications \- Microsoft Office.
* Availability for temporary contract.
* Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts (Mon\-Fri).
