We are looking for a **Senior Accountant** who wants to work in an environment oriented toward innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement — the pillars of our SHAPE culture: Shared success, helping each other succeed, continuous improvement, purpose-driven leadership, and valuing all voices. **Responsibilities and Duties** We seek a professional responsible for **executing and overseeing the monthly accounting close**, ensuring **reliability of information** and **timely completion**. The role involves **reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts**, analyzing **accounting provisions**, supporting the preparation of **financial statements** in accordance with **BRGAAP and IFRS**, and responding to **internal and external audits**. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring **fixed assets, depreciation, and inventories**, preparing **management reports**, analyzing processes, and proposing **continuous improvements**. They will also play an active role in implementing **accounting procedures**, ensuring compliance with **internal policies, accounting standards, and applicable legislation**, always safeguarding **information integrity and corporate asset security**. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences. * Minimum of **2 years of experience in accounting**, including hands-on experience with **monthly accounting closing**. * Knowledge of **CPC and IFRS**. * Experience with **accounting reconciliations**. * Proficiency in **provisions** and analysis of **balance sheet accounts**. * Knowledge of preparing and analyzing **financial statements**. * Intermediate/advanced **Excel** skills. * Experience with **ERP systems** (SAP preferred). **Additional Information** On-site cafeteria Unimed health plan Transportation allowance Life insurance and funeral assistance Childcare allowance for mothers PLR (Profit and Results Sharing) Attendance bonus At ESAB, we believe innovation emerges when extraordinary people unite with purpose.
