Broiler Extensionist II

Join our team! **\#VIBRA \#SOMOSNAT** **Responsibilities and duties** * Monitor housing dates for each farm and ensure proper preparation for receiving batches; * Supervise bird arrivals during transfers to prevent mortality and/or injuries; * Perform vaccinations according to schedules previously provided by the technical team; * Monitor the evolution of farm zootechnical indicators (weekly weighing, production, and mortality) to better manage batches; * Monitor the evolution of zootechnical indicators reported through PCP reports (hatchability and fertility reports) to better manage batches; * Conduct and/or supervise sample collection for submission to the company's laboratory (internal monitoring and empty farm monitoring) or MAPA-accredited laboratories (official monitoring); * Supervise cleaning and disinfection processes at farms during sanitary downtime; * Conduct weekly farm visits to guide producers on standard management and biosecurity procedures established by the Company for each stage of batch development; * Perform standard health monitoring activities such as fecal sampling for Salmonella testing and bird necropsies to map the health status of batches; * Monitor weekly weight gain and mortality rates of batches to identify farms with abnormal mortality and/or weight gain and act promptly to minimize performance losses; * Guide farmers on proper environmental management (ventilation and heating) of poultry houses; * Analyze batch zootechnical performance (daily weight gain, viability, average weight, and feed conversion) after slaughter, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate them to farmers. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or related fields; * Postgraduate degree in the field is desirable; * Experience in the area; * Valid driver's license (Category B); * Position for the Soledade region; **Additional information** * Meal card; * Food card; * Company vehicle for work routes; ABOUT **VIBRA FOODS** With national presence and exports to over 70 countries, the company combines tradition and innovation to deliver the best chicken protein.
