Job Summary: An Advanced Analytics Specialist will be responsible for defining and implementing AI, remote sensing, geoprocessing, and spatial analysis solutions, while providing technical leadership to the data science team. Application of advanced ML, DL, LLM, and remote sensing techniques * The Advanced Analytics Specialist will define and implement AI, remote sensing, geoprocessing, and spatial analysis solutions, and provide technical leadership to the data science team. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Understand business needs, deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on analyses, and translate them into technical requirements and solution proposals. * Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in data science. * Apply pattern recognition techniques, including but not limited to computer vision, convolutional neural networks (CNN), language models for natural language processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), and data analysis and predictive analytics (ML). * Apply remote sensing techniques to develop land use and land cover mapping solutions using computer vision for interpreting satellite and/or radar imagery. * Ensure technical feasibility of machine learning model proposals by collaborating with data scientists in designing and building solutions. * Serve as the technical leader of the data science team for technical discussions and guidance, plan, prepare, train, and direct the project team toward best practices in data science. * Test and validate data science solutions to ensure their effectiveness, quality, and compliance with requirements. * Engage the team and foster constructive discussions, extracting information, knowledge, and collective potential toward a shared objective or greater outcome. * Help teams increase productivity, achieve better results, solve complex organizational problems, respond rapidly to change, and strengthen organizational culture. * Lead technical discussions and ideation/innovation processes.
