Description:
* High school education;
* 1–2 years of experience preferred.
* Conduct routine inspections to diagnose the condition and operational status of steam turbines, compressors, wine centrifuges, steam traps, speed reducers, etc.;
* Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on all equipment and associated accessories, ensuring proper functionality;
* Carry out adjustments and calibrations of all mechanical and pneumatic equipment according to each machine’s specifications, using appropriate instruments;
* Perform maintenance on steam turbines, compressors, yeast centrifuges, speed regulators, mill and defibrator speed reducers, etc., including replacement of mechanical seals, bearings, and bushings;
* Monitor production tests, verifying proper machine operation;
* Assess repair needs for tools used in the production process;
* Perform non-destructive testing (liquid penetrant and magnetic particle) on motor and driven shafts of equipment;
* Maintain equipment and spare parts records, documenting repairs performed and parts replaced for control purposes;
* Inspect bearing condition and replace them as necessary, in accordance with established standards;
* Mark, drill, tap, and cut parts manually or mechanically, as required, for fabrication of parts and machines;
* Fill bearings with Babbitt metal.
