Fieldwork with a focus on safety and operational continuity Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment used in water intake, treatment, storage, and distribution systems, ensuring continuous and efficient operation of facilities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electromechanical equipment in water supply systems, ensuring operational continuity and reliability. * Conduct inspections, diagnostics, tests, disassembly, adjustments, and recommissioning of pumps, motors, control panels, valves, generators, blowers, lift stations, and other electromechanical assets. * Execute work orders, properly documenting interventions, materials used, root causes of failures, and technical recommendations. * Collaborate with operations, automation, and scheduling teams to prioritize and rapidly restore systems in case of incidents. * Support maintenance planning, identification of spare parts, and implementation of reliability-focused improvements. * Ensure proper handling of tools, instruments, materials, and adherence to safety standards during all activities. * Supervise suppliers and service providers when required, validating the technical quality of interventions. * Contribute to updating equipment histories, equipment registers, and area maintenance plans. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed technical course in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro-technical Engineering, Automation, or related fields. * Experience in electromechanical maintenance of pumps, motors, control panels, command systems, valves, generators, and rotating equipment. * Knowledge of maintenance routines applied to water supply systems, preferably in sanitation, industry, utilities, or infrastructure. * Basic ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, as well as maintenance procedures. * Capacity for fieldwork, organization, and focus on safety and operational continuity. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD; familiarity with maintenance management systems and work order systems is desirable. * Availability for on-call shifts, travel, and emergency response, as applicable. * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B) is desirable. * Availability for in-person work in Petrolina/PE. **Additional Information** **BENEFITS:** Medical assistance; Dental assistance; Life insurance; Transportation allowance; Meal voucher and/or food allowance; Profit-sharing program (PLR); **VITA Sertão** is the sanitation concessionaire established to drive development in the Sertão region of Pernambuco.
