Learn more about PepsiCo: PepsiCoJobs Responsibilities: **The opportunity** * Ensure compliance with the Food Quality and Safety Policy; * Develop the Petrolina quality team, as well as people management activities; * Facilitate and ensure execution of SGQSA maintenance activities by leading, developing, and training local teams in performing physicochemical, microbiological, sensory controls, and food safety programs; * Coordinate and execute internal audit programs, identify improvement needs in interfacing areas, and maintain continuous system improvement; * Manage the plant's quality indicators and conduct necessary negotiations to achieve targets; * Identify and assist in strategic planning for the Quality area; * Comply with current legislation and assume technical responsibility for the unit; * Coordinate the Food Safety Team (ESA); * Actively contribute and facilitate development of the Motor model, focusing on quality guardians; * Ensure budget compliance by managing available resources according to plant needs. **Your impact** * Ensure compliance with requirements through leadership, development, and training of the Quality team; * Ensure achievement of established KPIs (audits, consumer relations, among others) for the unit, monitoring action plan performance throughout the year; * Identify opportunities, develop scope, and monitor execution of Quality Capex for the units served, supporting, evaluating, and tracking project implementation; * Coordinate the unit's Food Safety Management System, ensuring compliance through leadership, development, and training of teams across different site areas. Qualifications: **Who are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering/food science, microbiology, pharmacy, or related fields; * Solid experience in the food industry; * Knowledge of food safety and quality control programs; * Sense of urgency and responsibility; * Initiative, creativity, good interpersonal skills, strong communication; * Aptitude for planning and control, organized and detail-oriented; * Team management experience; * Intermediate English and Spanish desirable.
