Works on maintenance of pumps, motors, gearmotors, mills, chillers, agitators, and other industrial equipment, in compliance with technical procedures and safety regulations, contributing to the availability and reliability of the production process. * Respond promptly to plant shutdowns caused by mechanical failures or defects in machines, equipment, valves, and devices, ensuring safe resumption of production. * Perform **predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance** on industrial equipment, including centrifugal pumps, gearmotors, turbines, reducers, mills, conveyors, redlers, elevators, screens, chillers, agitators, and other mechanical systems. * Carry out **disassembly, assembly, testing, and adjustments** of machines and components, ensuring their operation according to technical specifications. * Replace **bearings, mechanical seals, couplings, bushings, and transmission components**, ensuring proper alignment and performance. * Perform **reconditioning of mechanical and hydraulic parts and assemblies** on workbenches, applying welding, grinding, drilling, and cutting processes when necessary. * Conduct **visual and dimensional inspections** of mechanical components, identifying anomalies, wear, and deviations. * Execute equipment **lubrication, adjustment, and calibration plans** for mechanical and pneumatic systems, recording interventions in work orders and daily checklists. * Support senior mechanics and interact with maintenance and operations teams to ensure **equipment availability and reliability**. * Perform **equipment lockout and release procedures** according to internal standards and safety protocols. * Strictly comply with **safety, health, and environmental regulations**, using appropriate PPE and reporting risks or violations to immediate supervisors. * Assign routine shift tasks, monitor their execution, and release completed activities.
