Job Summary: Lead the fresh produce department team and processes, with a focus on results, people management, and compliance with regulations, ensuring departmental organization and quality. Focus on organization, quality, and customer service **Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** Rotating shift \| 44 hours per week **Level:** Not specified **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT * Lead the fresh produce department team and processes, focusing on customers and results, aligned with company policies and values; * Oversee department operations (organization, handling, restocking, cleaning, pricing, promotions, and expiration date control), ensure compliance with department procedures, complete checklists, and implement necessary preventive and corrective actions; * Lead the team using the company’s people management model and with management approvals: request vacancies and terminations, conduct interviews, meetings, training sessions, request position and salary changes, perform performance evaluations, manage working hours, and apply disciplinary measures; * Oversee the department’s physical infrastructure; procure, maintain, and repair equipment as needed, subject to management approval; * Manage department inventory and losses; perform required controls and purchase orders per established procedures; * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and food safety regulations; provide necessary guidance and enforcement; * Ensure customer service standards and implementation of the Machado Customer Service Standard across the team; provide necessary guidance and enforcement; * Oversee preparation and display of packaged and processed items to maintain variety and quality; * Assist with other department/store activities as needed and per leadership instructions. **Requirements:** * Basic education: Completed High School; * Preferred: Currently pursuing or completed undergraduate degree or technical course in Management, Administration, or Engineering; * Prior experience in management or within the fresh produce sector; * Core competencies for this role: Leadership and Dynamism; * **AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POSITION \- AVAILABLE FOR PWDs.** **Work Location:** Sinop/MT **Benefits:** On-site snack, Health Insurance, Performance Bonus, Life Insurance, Meal Voucher
