Operate medium-complexity processes involved in steam generation and cooling systems, independently performing intermediate-level technical tasks related to measurement, treatment, and monitoring of chemicals and the water and wastewater treatment plant, thereby ensuring proper operation of machinery and equipment as well as departmental productivity. **Responsibilities and Duties** Measure chemical dosages and calculate concentrations, focusing on water quality control throughout the entire process; Operate pumping systems and control the operation of stationary machinery; Prepare machinery and equipment for operation and independently monitor boiler operation and water quality; Operate boilers, cooling towers, chillers, and water and wastewater treatment plants with a degree of autonomy. Handle movement of chemicals used in the plant’s water treatment process; Treat water to ensure its suitability for various plant applications; Monitor water quality and adjust water treatment equipment as needed; Conduct daily inspections of departmental equipment to identify potential failures and report them to the Utilities team leader and supervisor; Prepare shift reports documenting incidents occurring during the shift and hand over relevant information to the next shift.
