Job Summary: Operate lifting equipment such as cranes and Munck trucks, performing safe and efficient hoisting, moving, and positioning of loads while safeguarding personnel and assets. Operate lifting equipment—including cranes, Munck trucks, and aerial work platforms—to safely and efficiently hoist, move, and position loads in accordance with operational plans and daily schedules. Adjust controls and interpret measurement instruments to assess machine and equipment operating conditions, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and operations. Also responsible for transporting machinery, equipment, and supplies in compliance with safety regulations and procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** Operate mobile, articulated, fixed cranes, Munck trucks, and lifting platforms according to scheduling and instructions received, adjusting controls, initiating movements, and evaluating machine and equipment operating conditions. Perform pre-operational inspections and complete the daily checklist, verifying instrument panels, power sources, activation controls, and integrity of safety systems. Analyze loads to be lifted, reviewing documentation and ensuring operational limits are not exceeded, using slings and accessories in perfect condition. Execute load handling in accordance with rigging plans, strictly following signalman/rigger instructions and adhering to current safety regulations (NR-11, NR-12, NR-18, and NR-35). Ensure proper packaging, securing, and protection of handled loads by safely and efficiently performing lashing operations. Support maintenance and industrial process teams by transporting machinery, equipment, and supplies per operational planning. Immediately report any equipment failure, abnormal noise, or irregularity identified to the maintenance department to prevent unplanned shutdowns and facilitate corrective maintenance. Periodically clean, organize, and lubricate equipment in accordance with operational procedures, ensuring adherence to scheduled washing and preservation routines. Complete operational reports and other required control documents. Participate in mandatory training sessions, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), and safety meetings to stay updated on best practices and legal requirements. Perform job duties in full compliance with all safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures, correctly using PPE and reporting risks to one’s own or others’ physical safety. Act in alignment with company values, policies, guidelines, and processes, safeguarding information confidentiality and achieving organizational goals. Maintain discipline within the 5S program, promoting workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness. Protect company equipment and assets under one’s responsibility, immediately reporting any damage or issue identified. Perform other related duties as requested by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** National Driver’s License Category D. Crane Operation and Safety Training Course.
