Focus on safety, health, and environment Operates lifting equipment—including cranes, Munck trucks, and aerial work platforms—to safely and efficiently hoist, move, and position loads in accordance with operational plans and daily schedules. Adjusts controls and interprets measuring instruments to assess machine and equipment operating conditions, safeguarding personnel, assets, and operations. Also responsible for transporting machinery, equipment, and supplies in compliance with safety standards and procedures. **Responsibilities and Duties** Operates mobile, articulated, fixed cranes, Munck trucks, and lifting platforms according to schedule and instructions received, adjusting controls, initiating movements, and assessing machine and equipment operating conditions. Conducts pre-operational inspections and completes the daily checklist, verifying instrument panels, power sources, activation controls, and integrity of safety systems. Analyzes loads to be lifted, verifies documentation, ensures operational limits are not exceeded, and uses slings and accessories in perfect condition. Executes load handling in accordance with rigging plans, strictly following signalman/rigger instructions and applicable safety regulations (NR-11, NR-12, NR-18, and NR-35). Ensures proper loading, securing, and protection of moved loads by performing safe and efficient lashing. Supports maintenance and industrial process teams by transporting machinery, equipment, and supplies as per operational planning. Immediately reports any equipment failure, abnormal noise, or irregularity identified to the maintenance department, contributing to prevention of unplanned shutdowns and corrective maintenance. Periodically performs equipment cleaning, organization, and lubrication in accordance with operational procedures, ensuring adherence to washing and preservation schedules. Completes operational reports and other required control documents. Attends mandatory training sessions, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), and safety meetings, staying updated on best practices and legal requirements. Performs job duties in full compliance with all safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures, correctly using PPE and reporting risks to one’s own or others’ physical integrity. Acts in accordance with company values, policies, guidelines, and processes, safeguarding information confidentiality and achieving organizational goals. Maintains discipline in the 5S program, promoting workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness. Cares for company equipment and assets under one’s responsibility, immediately reporting any damage or issue identified.
