Exercise technical leadership over the control of technical materials receipts together with project and engineering areas, document identified deviations and manage the implementation of action plans. Actively monitor new material purchase requests with focus on schedules and identification of possible impacts, assist in decision-making focusing on the contribution margin of the production process and new investments; establish inventory level points according to business rules, facilitate inventory routines, issuing and analyzing periodic reports on inventory levels; develop new management tools and technological solutions aiming to improve materials management performance and reduce costs, conducting field surveys and comparing them with material requirements in order to minimize risks of material surplus. **Responsibilities and duties** Exercise technical leadership over the control of technical materials receipts together with project and engineering areas; Actively monitor new material requests focusing on schedules and identifying potential impacts; Assist in decision-making with focus on the contribution margin of the production process and new investments; Establish inventory level points according to business rules; Facilitate inventory routines; Support invoice counting for monthly closings; Issue and analyze periodic reports on inventory levels, defining acceptable levels and action plans whenever excess is evident; Develop new management tools and technological solutions aiming to improve materials management performance and reduce costs; Conduct field surveys and compare them with material needs to minimize risks of material surplus; Lead strategic projects interacting with various departments; Monitor high-value purchases and actively participate in technical analyses of new acquisitions; Issue and analyze periodic reports according to key performance indicators; Stay updated on policies, standards, and legislation relevant to the area; Monitor and act upon departmental KPIs through constant monitoring and definition of action plans based on market best practices; Perform job activities respecting all organizational safety, health, and environmental procedures and regulations, as well as consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job tasks and department activities.
