




Responsible for conducting physicochemical and microbiological analyses at all stages of the production process, ensuring result reliability and compliance with quality and safety standards. Operates, maintains, and calibrates laboratory equipment, develops and reviews methodologies, trains personnel, and supports the implementation of quality programs, as well as participates in internal and external audits. * Ensure proper laboratory and equipment operation, assessing maintenance needs or replacement of consumables; * Perform analyses by liquid, gas, and ion chromatography, including calibration and periodic maintenance of instruments; * Execute physicochemical and microbiological analyses throughout all process stages, up to final products; * Train personnel, ensuring activities follow established methodologies and work instructions; * Develop, review, and update analysis methodologies and procedures in accordance with safety and quality standards; * Interface with production, providing reliable information and critically evaluating deviations; * Monitor preventive maintenance and periodic equipment calibration with specialized technicians; * Issue product analysis certificates; * Consolidate industrial data into the system (production, downtimes, inventories, shipments, boiler data) and generate reports; * Ensure all equipment is calibrated and in proper working condition; * Enter analytical data into process management and control systems; * Support the implementation and maintenance of quality programs in the laboratory, ensuring team knowledge of GMP and GLP; * Participate in internal and external audits. Requirements / Specific Knowledge: * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields * Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); * Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025 or equivalent); * Proficiency in instrumental techniques such as HPLC, spectrophotometry, and ion chromatography; * Knowledge of applied statistics, method validation, and quality control.
