Performs welding on industrial pipelines, tanks, metal structures, and components of the corn ethanol plant using MIG, TIG, and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) processes, in various positions and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, and special alloys). Ensures weld quality and integrity according to technical specifications, welding procedures, and safety standards, guaranteeing structural reliability of equipment and installations. Collaborates with boiler-making and mechanical maintenance teams in equipment assembly and repair, contributing to operational efficiency and continuity of the plant. * Perform welding on industrial pipelines of various diameters and thicknesses using MIG, TIG, and shielded metal arc welding processes. * Weld materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and special alloys according to project specifications. * Perform welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead). * Prepare welding equipment, adjusting parameters (current, voltage, gas flow) according to procedure. * Visually inspect completed welds, identifying potential defects (cracks, porosity, lack of fusion). * Perform pre-heating and post-weld heat treatment when specified. * Perform repair welding on pipelines, tanks, and metal structures. * Interpret technical drawings, welding procedures (WPS), and project specifications. * Maintain welding equipment in good working condition and report maintenance needs. * Comply with safety regulations NR-10, NR-12, NR-13, NR-18, and NR-35. * Use appropriate personal protective equipment (welding helmet, gloves, apron, hearing protection). * Collaborate with boilermakers and mechanics in equipment assembly and repair. * Record executed activities in work orders and welding reports.
