INSTRUMENT MECHANIC II

Perform installations with a certain degree of autonomy, revisions, replacements, tests and inspections of medium technical complexity on indicating thermometers and corrective and/or preventive maintenance. Aim for agility in processes and achievement of goals. **Responsibilities and duties** Carry out compressed air network installations and electrical installations under supervision; Conduct tests on electrical and electronic instruments and devices during off-season periods; Perform inspections and adjustments on all equipment in the industrial sector; Prepare service order reports, including actions taken to correct identified issues, then forward them to the immediate supervisor; Perform tests on temperature, pressure, and level transmitters, analyzing calibration ranges to either return them to operation or send them for maintenance, ensuring subsequent equipment functionality during production; Perform maintenance on pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, and electronic valves, actuators, and positioners by disassembling, checking parts, calibrating, and testing, in order to return them to operation; Perform maintenance on safety valves up to 150 psi, including disassembly, sandblasting, painting, inspection of seals, bushings, wear on components, and lapping, ensuring safe operation of high-pressure equipment; Monitor daily operation of pneumatic and electronic equipment, checking for faults to perform preventive maintenance and prevent production interruptions; Perform annual maintenance on sugar bagging scales, disassembling and making adjustments to ensure proper operation during production; Perform maintenance on actuators, including disassembly, lubrication, cleaning, part replacement, and operational testing prior to reinstallation; Assist in panel installation and wiring connections, adjustments and tests to ensure equipment is ready for use; Manually assist in the maintenance of electro-pneumatic bagging scales for sugar, identifying irregularities, replacing parts, making adjustments, ensuring operation only during production periods; Perform job activities in compliance with all organizational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures, consistently using all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any activity posing health risks to themselves or coworkers to their immediate supervisor; Carry out activities in alignment with company values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals, while maintaining confidentiality and protecting company information; Maintain discipline in the 5S program, promoting a safe work environment through organization, standardization, and workplace cleanliness; Safeguard company property under their responsibility, promptly reporting any problems or damages detected. **Requirements and qualifications** Technical degree in Automation, Instrumentation, or related fields; Knowledge of frequency inverters and soft starters; Basic knowledge of PLCs; Basic Office Suite skills; Equipment lockout systems; Electrical control; Maintenance of low and high voltage electrical installations; Maintenance of instrumentation equipment; Knowledge of communication networks. **Additional information** Benefits: Meal allowance; Health insurance (Unimed); Dental plan; Transportation voucher; Profit sharing program (PPR); Gympass; Meals provided at the company.
