Responsible for managing the utilities sector (steam, electricity, water, compressed air and sewage treatment) during the shift, aiming to ensure the functionality of essential services for industrial operations. * Monitor team performance, guiding employees when necessary to maintain pace, quality and productivity; * Ensure compliance with machine and equipment operating instructions as well as safety procedures; * Safeguard company assets and ensure proper maintenance of machines, equipment, parts, tools and facilities; * Ensure water quality standards for cooling tower makeup, boiler feedwater, industrial processes and human consumption; * Prepare reports on steam production, water intake and water quality, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions; * Develop and enhance the technical, theoretical and practical skills of the team, identifying talents with potential for future roles within the department or new facilities; * Manage conflict situations and participate in employee selection, training and promotion processes; * Identify equipment failures and arrange immediate repairs, ensuring maximum performance and reliability of utility systems; * Plan investments in technology and monitor machinery, equipment and process projects; * Implement tools that enable operators to achieve company goals; * Issue technical evaluations regarding materials, equipment, suppliers and improvement proposals; * Supervise organization, hygiene and cleanliness of work areas; * Monitor performance targets and results related to boiler operation, biomass reception and storage, water and wastewater treatment plants, demineralized water production (reverse osmosis), cooling towers, pumping systems, chemical dosing, steam and water quality, and power generation; * Ensure all utility department services have work permits and risk assessments; * Conduct daily safety talks, track operational targets and review achieved results; * Manage attendance, overtime and support the supervisor in meetings and performance indicator presentations; * Monitor environmental parameters of effluents and waste, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and internal policies; * Comply with and enforce safety, health, environmental and PPE usage regulations, reporting identified risks; * Act in accordance with organizational values, policies, guidelines and objectives, maintaining confidentiality of company information; * Plan utility production supervision activities, assigning tasks, specifying resources, developing schedules and contingency plans.
