Senior Utilities Operator

Description

Responsible for the Utilities area, Boiler, Water Treatment Station, Wastewater Treatment Station, Biomass, and Turbo Generator in operation. Complying and ensuring compliance with safety standards, aiming at equipment quality and availability, and contributing to steam supply according to process demand and power generation. * Follow safety regulations, inspect equipment for maintenance; * Ensure equipment availability: Boilers, WTS, WWT, Conveyors; * Monitor water quality for boiler use through laboratory analysis; * Make operational adjustments, chemical dosing, biomass dosing, based on operational monitoring and chemical analysis results; * Monitor management data (average steam pressure, steam temperature, water quality); * Assume operational control of boiler, utilities and turbo generator via supervisory system in the absence of COI operator; * Operational combustion control via supervisory system and on-site, guiding loader operators on the best biomass to be fed into the silo; * Control and adjust valves, drains and dampers via supervisory system and on-site; * Ensure area organization, steam quality for process and power generation; * Create and update spreadsheets for performance tracking to achieve established targets; * Supervise personnel from the area in the absence of the Utilities Supervisor. WTS - (Water Treatment Station) / WWT – (Wastewater Treatment Station), Loader Operators, Junior Utilities Operators, Full Utilities Operators, and third parties providing services in the sector; * Monitor biomass yard reception and organization. Specific Skills: Mechanical maintenance knowledge on boilers; Water treatment; Turbo generator (Operation); Boiler operation (COI).
