We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the institution’s technological evolution, with primary focus on Artificial Intelligence, process automation, and software engineering—directly supporting the digital transformation of higher education. This is a strategic role with strong interface across academic, administrative, and student experience areas, connecting business, technology, pedagogical innovation, and data. We seek someone who views technology as product, as strategy, and as an educational differentiator. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and structure the Technology department with focus on Artificial Intelligence, automation, and continuous innovation; * Plan and execute strategic AI projects applied to higher education; * Develop and implement intelligent solutions for academic, administrative, and student support processes; * Create automations that reduce backlogs, rework, and response time—enhancing efficiency and student experience; * Integrate institutional systems with APIs, AI platforms, LLMs, intelligent agents, copilots, and data tools; * Act as a strategic partner to management, supporting decisions with metrics, dashboards, and data-driven analytics; * Ensure information security best practices, digital governance, and compliance with LGPD; * Contribute to academic innovation by supporting pedagogical projects, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), and technology-mediated educational experiences; * Provide technical leadership to teams and vendors, with a vision for scalability, architecture, and solution sustainability. **Technical and Professional Requirements** * Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields; * Solid experience in system development, integrations, and solution architecture; * Applied knowledge of Artificial Intelligence: * LLMs, intelligent agents, automations, copilots, and intelligent workflows; * Experience with databases, APIs, cloud computing, and scalable environments; * Proven experience leading technological and strategic projects; * Experience in higher education—especially holding or having held a teaching position in technology-related fields—is a strong differentiator. **Profile We Seek** * Strategic leadership with systemic vision and ability to turn ideas into tangible projects; * Clear, accessible communication with non-technical stakeholders; * Autonomy, organization, and strong sense of priority; * Product mindset, innovation orientation, scalability awareness, and commitment to continuous improvement; * Genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence, educational technology, and the transformation of teaching and learning; * Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels, as required; * Affinity with the academic environment and with people development. **Valued Differentiators** * Experience as a university professor or in teaching; * Participation in AI-for-education projects; * Experience with LMS, LXP, academic systems, or EdTech companies; * Innovative, curious, and up-to-date profile regarding technological trends; * Remuneration to be negotiated, considering experience, seniority, teaching affiliation, and the strategic scope of the role.
