Job Summary: BAUMINAS Group is seeking a Machine Operator to assist with activities and organization at its manufacturing unit in Salvador, operating heavy machinery and preparing raw materials. Join a team contributing to environmental sanitation in Brazil BAUMINAS Group \- Salvador Unit\-BA is selecting a Machine Operator to join its team and support activities and organization at the manufacturing unit. Join our team! **Responsibilities and Duties** ➣ Operate heavy machinery such as front-end loaders and/or backhoes for unloading and handling raw materials and other inputs (bauxite ore, screening, crushing, and grinding of bauxite) required in the production process; ➣ Prepare the mixture of inputs for the production process; ➣ Load bauxite into silos, store bauxite and inputs, and load/unload ore (bauxite) and input trailers; ➣ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace, actively participating in the 5S program; ➣ Clean equipment used in production processes; ➣ Report maintenance needs—corrective, preventive, and improvement-related—to the supervisor; ➣ Issue Maintenance Work Orders (MWOs) and request authorization from the production supervisor; ➣ Operate, refuel, and replace tires on forklifts; ➣ Perform minor repairs on equipment (e.g., forklifts, backhoes); ➣ Support the maintenance team during part replacements and cleaning; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education * Experience in production environments, machine operation, front-end loaders, and light machinery. * Experience operating gas-powered forklifts. * Valid driver's license (CNH) * Forklift operator certification * Backhoe operator certification (preferred) **Additional Information** BAUMINAS Group comprises four companies operating integrally in the environmental sanitation industry: BAUMINAS Águas, BAUMINAS Mineração, BAUMINAS Log, and BAUMINAS Hidroazul.
