Job Summary: The Junior Infrastructure Analyst will provide support, monitoring, and maintenance for the network infrastructure, ensuring service availability, security, and stability. Assistance with VPN configurations and firewall rules. **Job Description** We are seeking a Junior Infrastructure Analyst to provide support, monitoring, and maintenance for the company's network infrastructure. The professional will assist in incident resolution, monitor equipment performance, and support internal teams, ensuring service availability, security, and stability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor network resources including Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Controllers, and Access Points across the corporate office and Refinery environments, as deployed per the equipment baseline tables; * Coordinate and follow\-up with vendors under active maintenance contracts (e.g., Fortinet, HP, Palo Alto, Cisco, or any other vendor) for network equipment requiring resolution; * Support monthly inventory control and reporting of network assets; * Support process improvement evaluations; * Document performed procedures; * Support configuration and\/or adjustment of existing VPNs between the Refinery and Office, and the Azure Cloud environment; * Support administration, creation, and adjustment of firewall rules according to each environment’s requirements and established governance, aligned with security guidelines provided by REFMAT; * Assist in decisions related to operations, governance, and processes; * Assist in implementing improvements (IMACs) to optimize operations and reduce incidents, subject to formal approval by REFMAT. Resource list and location **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed or currently pursuing a degree in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of TCP\/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, and routing protocols. Familiarity with switch and router configuration (Cisco, HP, MikroTik, or similar). * Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, etc.). Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and organizational skills for handling tickets and interacting with users. **Desirable Requirements** * Prior experience in technical support or NOC. * Experience in Data Center or Cloud Networking environments. * Training focused on **CCNA**, **NSE1\/2\/3**, **HCIA**, or similar certifications. * Basic knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, etc.).
