So, do you fit this profile? **Responsibilities and duties** * Diagnose, plan, and manage compliance with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System; * Manage Occupational Health and Safety Programs (PGR, PCMSO, among others); * Be technically responsible for Occupational Safety issues (Risk Assessments, Accident Investigations, Audits and Inspections) in all phases of the project (design, construction, installation, operation); * Plan and monitor operational, maintenance, and installation activities according to Safety standards; * Lead technical assessments of Occupational Health and Safety risks; * Support departments with technical Occupational Health and Safety requirements for developing operational standards and procedures; * Provide technical support on tactical and operational Emergency-related matters (Procedures, Plans, and Standards); * Represent the department technically in internal and external audits related to Occupational Health and Safety. * Plan and validate workplace safety conditions (emergency exits, fire suppression systems, risk maps, etc.); * Issue reports and opinions regarding safety inspections at workplaces and areas influenced by the project, planning preventive and/or corrective actions; * Conduct and support the development and revision of manuals, procedures, and SSO training programs, complying with Regulatory Standards and other applicable requirements; * Plan and implement actions aimed at accident prevention, including training; * Conduct accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective actions; * Establish SSO requirements for suppliers and service providers; * Conduct SSO audits and/or verifications of suppliers and service providers; * Conduct and/or validate planning of load handling activities, working at heights, and other high-risk activities. **Requirements and qualifications** * Degree in Engineering with specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering; * Active CREA registration. * Solid experience in Occupational Safety, implementing new production lines and monitoring production processes in the automotive industry, preferably in vehicle body welding; * Intermediate English proficiency for conversation; * Knowledge of norms and laws necessary for maintaining a safe work environment, meeting legal requirements; * Knowledge in preparing safety plans, risk analysis, conducting safety audits, etc.; * Availability to work in person in Camaçari. **Additional information** At BYD, we prioritize the well\-being of our employees and continuously seek improvements to our benefits package.
