**Hydrojet Operator**

**Main responsibilities:**
* Operate high-pressure hydrojet equipment for industrial cleaning services
* Perform cleaning activities on surfaces, pipelines, tanks, metal structures, and industrial equipment
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on hydrojet equipment—including pumps, hoses, accessories, and safety valves—diagnosing faults and replacing parts.
* Directly perform mechanical interventions, adjustments, and repairs required to ensure proper equipment operation
* Inspect equipment operating conditions before, during, and after task execution
* Monitor the hydrojet operator during operations, observing fatigue, unauthorized personnel, or hazards, and assisting with handling heavy lances.
* Diagnose malfunctions and report requirements for more complex maintenance
* Monitor oil, water, and lubricant levels; organize replenishment of necessary materials and tools.
* Prepare, organize, and maintain tools, devices, and the work area
* Ensure machine grounding, use of appropriate hoses with safety devices, verification of equipment/accessories/locks, and operation according to the manufacturer’s manual—guaranteeing safety, integrity, and quality.
* Act in accordance with supervision instructions to ensure quality standards and productivity
* Control and maintain responsibility for equipment and instruments under your charge;
* Attend technical and behavioral training sessions as scheduled to enhance skills and knowledge required for performing the role;
* Maintain workplace signage, ensuring a safe environment free from hazards for employees.
* Identify and select appropriate materials, consumables, and tools for tasks under technical team guidance. After completing tasks, verify materials and tools to prevent losses and damage;
* Before commencing work, assess details regarding performed activities—including structural conditions, materials used, and implemented safety measures;
* Participate in safety meetings and team activities, collaborating with other professionals to execute tasks and continuously improve processes;
* Comply with company-defined and applicable legislation HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and procedures;
* Correctly use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and collective protective equipment (CPE) in areas where mandatory;
* Immediately report hazardous situations, accidents, or near\-misses to supervisors and the HSE department responsible;
* Attend mandatory company-provided safety, health, and environmental training;
* Maintain order and cleanliness at the worksite, contributing to a safe environment;
* Collaborate in accident and occupational disease prevention initiatives;
* Protect the environment by supporting correct waste segregation and rational use of natural resources (water, energy, raw materials).
