Description: * Degree in Nautical Sciences; * Experience as IMT; * DP Full Certificate; * CoC - Certificate of Competence DPC 1031 STCW Rule II/2 + IV/2; * TBS1 (STCW VI/1) - Basic Safety Training / Unified Certificate (ECIN/ESPE/EBPS/ESRS); * EOPN/SSO - Special Course for Ship Security Officer (STCW - VI/5) or EBCP - Basic Shipboard Security Awareness Training (STCW VI/6) (*Mandatory if EOPN/SSO is not presented); * ECIA - Advanced Fire Fighting Special Course (STCW - VI/3); * EESS - Special Course on Survival Craft and Rescue Boats; * EROG / GMDSS - General Radio Operator Special Course (STCW - IV/2); * T-HUET. * Conduct safe navigation as required by shipping company procedures and ensure all watchkeeping crew members are fully familiar with these procedures; * Enforce, and ensure enforcement by all subordinates, all applicable laws and regulations, maintaining discipline onboard, ensuring proper performance of duties by all crew members of all categories and functions under their command; * Maintain onboard filing and all company records and other documents required to be kept or presented; * Ensure compliance with any legal, local or international regulations affecting the vessel; * Implement and record onboard training as required by international regulations and Ocean Management System; * Report any accident and/or damage affecting the vessel, its crew or cargo to the Company and other parties as necessary; * Manage voyage expenses and resource utilization; * Ensure each crew member assumes personal responsibility for safety, environmental and quality aspects of their work; * Be responsible for ensuring appropriate standards of health and hygiene are maintained throughout the vessel; * Monitor crew embarkation and disembarkation; * Ensure compliance with Working and Resting Hours Regulations; * Supervise medical care onboard; * Ensure that the onboard complaint procedure is applied according to Company requirements; * Execute the vessel's contract in a professional and competent manner; * Ensure voyage orders are fully understood and carried out; * Ensure Risk Assessments involving scenarios that could lead to major accidents (Process Safety) are effectively and continuously managed, risk assessment procedures are followed onboard, and, if necessary, shore-based support is obtained to mitigate identified risks; * Perform duties in accordance with relevant national (DPC-NORMAM 13 Chapter 4 Section I, item 0403 and Section III, item 0419) and international standards, as well as compliance with the Ocean Management System; * Verify and sign documents upon completion of operations; * Hold regular meetings to review compliance with the Company's Management System, agree on appropriate improvement measures, and coordinate implementation and execution; * Inform the Company when voyage/cargo instructions cannot be fulfilled, and/or when planned voyage instructions are unclear/unclear; * Responsible for cargo and ballast operations to ensure they are conducted safely and efficiently; * Coordinate with maritime safety and quality departments to improve environmental safety and quality performance through reports and proposals; * Ensure training, welfare, discipline and other administrative matters necessary for onboard operations; * Ensure emergency duties and stations are known by each crew member, including any necessary onboard training; * Supervise onboard waste management; * Ensure commercial considerations do not take precedence over safety and environmental protection; * Ensure sufficient bunkers and supplies are onboard before starting a voyage; * Protect the interests of the shipowner and the Company at all times; * Comply with the Ocean Management System Policy, whereby each individual must take responsibility for quality, occupational health and safety, process safety, and environmental preservation aspects of their activities, provided there is no conflict with current regulations; * Ensure awareness and control actions regarding risks of their activities considering Safety, Environment, Health and Process Safety requirements. 2511080202181461000
