Collaboration with safety and rescue teams **We are seeking a Rope Access Painter** **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform tasks using rope access techniques in compliance with IRATA standards, respecting the competencies, aptitudes, and operational limits established for each certification level. Always work under the supervision of an IRATA Level 3 professional; * Collaborate with safety, first aid, and other professionals involved in rescue operations. When required, apply rescue procedures—including proper use of equipment and specific techniques for rapid and safe rescues—under supervision of a Level 3 professional; * Organize storage of paints and solvents according to safety regulations and chemical compatibility; * Record all performed activities and application parameters (including temperature, humidity, drying time, and instrument replacements) for quality control. Report any non-conformities in the painting process when necessary, proposing corrective actions; * Identify, select, and prepare materials and equipment required for surface preparation and paint application, ensuring everything is ready and complies with specifications. After completing tasks, verify tools and materials to prevent losses and damage; * Inspect and prepare surfaces prior to treatment, evaluating weathering degree, contamination, weld spatter, sharp edges, gaps, and other irregularities that may interfere with paint application; * Inspect surface conditions after treatment and ensure they are free from contamination before paint application, guaranteeing the appropriate cleanliness level; * Perform physical-chemical surface cleaning using manual and mechanical tools, as well as touch-ups when necessary; • Prepare paint according to painting procedures and technical specifications, ensuring product consistency and quality; • Apply paint using rollers, brushes, and/or needle guns, depending on surface requirements and recommended techniques; * Clean and maintain equipment after use, replacing components and equipment as needed to ensure functionality and safety; * Monitor and safeguard equipment and instruments under your responsibility; * Attend technical and behavioral training sessions as scheduled, to enhance skills and knowledge required for job performance; * Ensure proper workplace signage, maintaining a safe environment free of hazards for colleagues; * Before commencing work, assess details regarding performed activities—including structural conditions, materials used, and implemented safety measures; * Participate in safety meetings and team meetings, collaborating with other professionals in task execution and continuous process improvement; * Comply with company-defined and applicable legislation HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and procedures; * Correctly use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and collective protective equipment (CPE), where mandatory; * Immediately report hazardous situations, accidents, or near-misses to your supervisor and to an HSE department representative; * Attend mandatory safety, health, and environmental training provided by the company; * Maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace, contributing to a safe environment; * Support accident and occupational disease prevention initiatives; * Protect the environment by correctly segregating waste and promoting rational use of natural resources (water, energy, raw materials).\\" **Requirements** * Valid IRATA certification; * Valid CBSP; * Valid T-HUET; * Proven experience in industrial painting, minimum 6 months; * Minimum 500 hours documented in logbook; Industrial Painter Certificate with minimum duration of 60 hours; * **Benefits** * Meal allowance * Total Pass; * Sesc Rio partnership; * Education incentive * Daycare/School allowance * School supplies allowance * Life insurance * Dental plan * Health plan * Vertical Health Project. **Important: Vertical Group does not charge any fees at any stage of the selection process.
