We are committed to building an increasingly diverse culture and value the inclusion of all individuals regardless of color, ethnicity, religion, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability, fostering an inclusive environment with equal opportunities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide user assistance during traffic inspection and mechanical rescue by driving and operating the Concessionaire's vehicles, upon request from the Operational Control Center (OCC). * Capture or remove animals from the roadway and/or medians using appropriate equipment available in operational vehicles and the Animal Capture Truck. * Extinguish small fire outbreaks using specialized equipment available in operational vehicles or the Water Tanker Truck. * Inspect construction and service activities occurring within the right-of-way using operational vehicles and the Construction and Services Manual available in patrol vehicles. * Escort oversized loads by driving the operational vehicle and reviewing documentation related to such loads. * Inspect the company's right-of-way by patrolling designated highway sections, identifying ongoing constructions or general services, billboards or signage installed, requesting presentation of authorization granted by the company for execution of services and/or construction, releasing them if no irregularities are found, or requesting removal or demolition from the responsible party; if necessary, contacting via OCC the State or Federal Highway Police or the Supervisor to obtain reinforcements for process completion. * Perform or support operations related to assisting pedestrians in hazardous positions, fallen signage from ongoing highway construction, removal of fallen highway signage from risk zones, extinguishing incipient fires, removing objects from the roadway (e.g., debris, wood, bumper fragments, cardboard), and removing live or dead animals from the roadway, taking appropriate measures. * Verify whether signage for highway construction, improvement, and maintenance complies with company standards, guided by previously received sketches; operations may be halted if irregularities or risks to operations are identified until the situation is resolved or new instructions are received from the OCC. * Identify possible deficiencies in signage (regulatory, informative, or warning signs) or on the roadway (potholes, damaged barriers, cleaning, washing), photographing the site and forwarding suggestions or information to the OCC, which then notifies responsible departments for analysis and action. * Propose improvements to signage, infrastructure, drainage, and roadway safety, submitting them for analysis and validation by the Supervisor.
