This includes answering questions, assisting with inquiries and complaints, and ensuring customers feel satisfied with the service received; * Operate the cash register quickly and efficiently, handling customers' financial transactions—such as product payments and change—ensuring all items have been scanned. The Store Operator must possess mathematical calculation skills and be able to handle various payment methods, including cash, credit and debit cards, and meal vouchers; * Keep shelves consistently well-stocked, organized, and clean, ensuring efficient merchandise restocking and maintaining inventory up-to-date according to the store layout. The Store Operator must also monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items; * Identify product prices and update them in accordance with store promotions and discounts. The operator must also be prepared to handle price disputes when a customer challenges a product's price; * Maintain store cleanliness and organization—including the checkout area, counters, and shelves—and keep stockrooms and storage areas organized and clean to facilitate product access; * Be agile, proactive, and capable of working under pressure, handling stressful situations—such as checkout lines and dissatisfied customers—with calmness and professionalism.
