Job Summary: We are seeking a Cost Estimator with strong analytical ability and technical expertise to prepare proposals and budgets for industrial and infrastructure construction projects. Analysis and interpretation of project documents, tender notices, and technical specifications. **Job Description:** ---------------------- We are looking for a Cost Estimator with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and technical proficiency to develop proposals and budgets for industrial and infrastructure construction projects. We seek a committed, meticulous professional with proven experience in this field. Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret tender notices, executive project drawings, descriptive memoranda, and technical specifications for industrial and infrastructure construction projects. Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including technical texts, justifications, preliminary schedules, and budgetary assumptions. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from AutoCAD/Revit drawings, considering specific requirements of industrial projects (e.g., deep foundations, industrial flooring, etc.). Develop budget-oriented Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) specifically tailored for industrial and infrastructure projects. Develop unit cost compositions, calculate inputs, labor, equipment, BDI (Indirect Costs and Profits), and social charges according to applicable standards and market practices. Support technical and commercial negotiations by analyzing alternative construction methods and identifying risks and indirect costs. Ensure compliance with regulations, contractual requirements, and industrial or infrastructure client specifications. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Proven experience as a Cost Estimator or in related fields (planning, cost control). Experience analyzing tender notices, project documents, descriptive memoranda, and technical specifications. Proficiency in drafting technical and commercial proposals. Solid knowledge of quantity takeoffs, WBS, cost compositions, BDI, and social charges. Intermediate/advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit. Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel. **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- Proven experience in budgeting industrial construction projects and/or heavy infrastructure projects (warehouses, industrial plants, heavy pavement, industrial drainage, special foundations, retaining structures). Postgraduate degree in Cost Engineering, Estimating, Project Management, or related fields. Experience with Orçar software (Construbyte). Knowledge of Autodesk Design Review. Intermediate English (for reading tender notices and technical specifications).
